Legal Agreement for Using Sam

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Sam, the browser-based voice agent platform provided by UseSam, Inc. By using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, and you must keep your credentials secure.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service or assist anyone else in doing so. Prohibited activities include interfering with system integrity, reverse engineering, uploading malicious code, or using the Service for unlawful, discriminatory, or deceptive purposes.

3. Customer Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for the content of conversations conducted via your deployment of Sam and for complying with all applicable laws when recording, transcribing, or storing caller information. You must obtain any required consent from end users.

4. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, branding, and documentation, is owned by UseSam, Inc. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your internal business purposes.

5. Payment & Plan Limits

Paid plans provide a pool of browser conversation minutes and features described in the subscription details. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change plan features or pricing with reasonable notice.

6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, UseSam, Inc. disclaims all implied warranties and will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or create a risk of harm. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination you remain responsible for any outstanding fees.

8. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
